Workshop “Coevolution of the “Business-University”: New Realities – New Practices”

On 15 September 2023, the workshop “Coevolution of the “Business-University”: New Realities – New Practices” was held at the International Scientific and Technical University in Kyiv, focused on essential aspects of modern higher education and partnerships between universities and businesses.

It was organized within the framework of Erasmus+ KA2 projects such as the “Joint Multidisciplinary Training Program On Entrepreneurship In The Field of Artificial Intelligence For Industry 5.0” (JoInME), “Academic Response to Hybrid Threats” (WARN), and “Unlocking the Transformative potential of Ukrainian Universities towards climate neutral and sustainable cities” (UniCities).

The event was attended by faculty members, entrepreneurship trainers, and European Union’s Erasmus+ CBHE project participants. During the workshop, they managed to improve their knowledge and skills in sustainable development and understanding of the opportunities for cooperation between universities and businesses.

The participants of the event had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and best practices with expert speakers, among whom were Svitlana Shytikova, Coordinator of the EU National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, Svitlana Hryshko, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Cybernetics and Economic Security Management of NURE, Maria Golovianko, Associate Professor of the Department of Artificial Intelligence of NURE, and Stanislav Kukhtyk, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Development of ISTU. The workshop covered topics such as the synergy of project results, teaching methods in the face of hybrid threats, training entrepreneurs in advanced industries, the role of universities in green reconstruction, and the climate neutrality of cities.
