1. Online resource of temperature indicators in Ukraine

The Green Transformation and Climate Neutrality Center, in collaboration with the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Institute (UHMI) and the ISTU team, has launched an online resource to display temperature indicators across Ukraine.

The project aims to provide citizens and scientists with current information on climate change, heat and cold waves. It utilizes data from over 120 observation points to raise awareness of climate change’s impact on the environment and support measures to mitigate its negative effects.

Key features of the resource include:

– An interactive map displaying real-time temperature data

– Temperature forecasts for the next 5 days

– Visual representation of heat and cold waves

– Historical data to identify trends and anomalies

This resource is designed for scientists, researchers, environmentalists, students, and the wider community. Its user-friendly interface ensures easy access to the necessary information.

The project is developed at the request of UHMI, which provides data and expert advice. A team of academic and technical specialists, students, and staff are contributing their knowledge and skills to create this valuable tool for society.
