UniCities: Countering Hybrid Threats for Smart Cities

On November 22, 2023, the “Countering Hybrid Threats in Smart Cities based on the UniCities project” report was presented at the IV Scientific and Practical Conference “Management and Administration Towards Countering Hybrid Threats to National Security”. One of the representatives of the UniCities project consortium, International Scientific and Technical University co-organized the event along with other leading Ukrainian educational institutions. It should be noted that the conference was held within the framework of the Erasmus+ project “WARN: Academic respond to hybrid threats”.

Participants of the conference discussed relevant issues of countering hybrid threats to Ukrainian national security and shared research and practical experience in the field of governance, cybersecurity, and administration.

Stanislav Kukhtyk, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Development of ISTU, made a keynote presentation on “Countering Hybrid Threats in Smart Cities based on the UniCities project”. The event participants highly appreciated the importance of exploring this area not only in understanding current challenges but also in developing smart climate-neutral cities.
